Former Dunwoody High student Corey White was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the third day of the 2012 NFL draft.

The 6-foot, 206-pound White led Samford University in interceptions last season with four, returning one for a touchdown, according to the Washington Post.

White played cornerback at Samford, and at his pro day, White ran a reported 4.39 40 yard dash, according to NewOrleansProFootball.com.

The website also touted White’s strong tackling and aggressive run support abilities, and said he will likely move to the safety position.
