The 2012 Relay for Life of DeKalb/Adams raised more than $500,000 over the weekend, according to relay organizers.
The $514,000 surpassed the relay’s goal of $495,000, said Jill Pullen, who worked with the relay.
The event, which was held at Adams Stadium on North Druid Hills Road, began Friday at 7pm and ended after a closing ceremony the following morning at 7.
