A car ran off the road and rammed the front door of Finders Keepers furniture consignment store in Avondale Estates on Thursday, injuring one woman, said business owner Bonnie Kallenberg.
The wreck occurred seven months after a car-into-building crash at Mobeta Wings, the business next door. Kallenberg and her husband own both buildings.
Kallenberg said the Thursday wreck happened when a blue sedan veered off East College Avenue about 1 p.m., ran through the consignment store parking lot, and crashed into the glass front door.
“There were no cars in the parking lot to stop her,” Kallenberg said. She said the driver was crying and didn’t say what happened.
A woman walking into or out of the store was hurt, but Kallenberg didn’t know the woman’s name or the extent of her injuries.
