Officers responded to the area of Nowhere Road and Danielsville Road on May 4th in reference to a single gunshot. Officers made contact with a man, who said that while he was trying to help a friend, a man approached (later identified as Julius Willis) and fired 1 shot into the ground. Willis then put the muzzle of the weapon against the man’s chest and told the man he would kill him. According to the man, a woman took the gun from Willis. Officers located Willis. Willis ran from officers and was later found hiding on the roof of the woman’s Danielsville Road residence. Julius Willis was charged with Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
Officers met with the victim at St Mary’s Hospital. The victim said he was going to his cousin’s house on Magnolia Terrace. When
