Update: 12:59 p.m. Friday
Police are looking for a gray 2006 GMC Sierra with license plate No. BNQ 3491 in connection with this morning’s hit-and-run accident on Interstate 575, Woodstock Police Department spokeswoman Brittany Duncan said.
The Sierra will have passenger side damage and a missing side mirror, she said.
Duncan said she did not have an update on the condition of the construction worker who was injured in the hit-and-run, which occurred at 9:30 a.m., not at 10:10 a.m. as Georgia Department of Transportation spokesman Mohamed Arafa told Canton-Sixes Patch this morning.
The construction worker is being treated at WellStar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta.
Duncan said she was not releasing his name or any other information about him at this time.
