Fresh produce such as peaches, as well as tamales, tacos and activities are coming to Clarkston this weekend.
The Clarkston Farmers Market will have its kickoff celebration on Sunday, May 20, 11:30 am – 3:30 pm, at the Clarkston Community Center activities field. The center is located at 3701 College Avenue in Clarkston.
From June – October, the markets will be held on the last Sunday of the month. The cooperatively run bike shop Communicycle is also scheduled to be present, according to the Clarkston Farmers Market’s Facebook page.
The Clarkston farmers market is another close to the Stone Mountain area offering fresh veggies and fruits.
The Tucker Farmers Market, takes place on the community’s Main Street every Thursday.
The Old Town Tucker Merchants Association kicked off its Green Market on Main, at the end of April.
