Georgia Bulldogs defensive back Chris Sanders has been dismissed from the team by coach Mark Richt for unspecified rules violations, according to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution.
In an announcement this morning, Feb. 3, Richt said that two other players – defensive back Nick Marshall and wide receiver Sanford Seay – were also dropped from UGA.
Fox 5 in Atlanta is reporting that Marshall and Seay were dismissed for their part in the theft of $500 worth of money and valuables from another Georgia player, as yet un-named. It is not known whether Sanders’ dismissal is related to the alleged theft.
