People coming together to help battle a deadly disease, and honor the people who are trying to beat cancer.
Chatham County’s Relay for Life kicked off with a survivor’s walk.

Survivors say they appreciate every person, and every step they take.
“I used to be a relay team member on the other end raising money, crying when the survivors went around the track.” explained cancer survivor Leslie Nissen. “Then last year was my first as a survivor going around the track and I wasn’t crying at all because i’m a survivor.”
“Be happy for them, hope that everyone gets the cure pretty soon,” said Colon
