While Kirkland’s officially opened July 10, the store is holding a special grand opening event this weekend — residents who wish to spruce up their homes will want to take advantage of free design consultations.
The grand opening event, held from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, will include gift card specials and refreshments. The designer event will include an appearance by Shellene Frett, a certified interior redesign and staging professional who will offer free design consultations from 1 to 4 p.m. both days. Frett owns The Decor Idea.
The Barrow Crossing Kirkland’s store is one of about 292 locations in 30 states that sell home decor and gifts — merchandise includes framed art, mirrors, candles, lamps, picture frames, accent rugs, garden accessories and artificial floral products.
