The driver who took off in the hit and run car crash Sunday evening in Stoughton has been identified and charged, the Stoughton Police Department announced Wednesday on the Department’s Facebook page.
Melissa Degrande, 38, of 3213 Windsor Woods in Canton has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident with personal injury; leaving the scene of an accident with property damage; negligent operation of a motor vehicle; and failure to stop at a red light.
The July 8 hit-and-run accident at the intersection of Central and Washington Streets sent three to the hospital, including one who was transported to Boston via MedFlight.
