The 12th Midtown development team officially announced Tuesday that Café Intermezzo will soon bring its European flair to the $2 billion mixed-use development project on the Midtown Mile.

It had been reported by several media outlets last summer that Café Intermezzo was eyeing a Midtown location. Undisclosed until Tuesday was that the new Café Intermezzo locale will replace the Brookwood location in Buckhead that has been open for almost 25 years.

The Atlanta-based European coffeehouse will close its Brookwood doors at 1845 Peachtree Road in November when it reopens at 12th Midtown and joins STK, Asselina Cucina, Ri Ra Irish Pub, RA Sushi, Mi Cocina and Piola at the mixed-use development.
