What better suggestion for a “town square” than Lenox Square? It’s widely known that the quality of a city is commonly measured by the inventory of its hardware store.
“By the same token”, Buckhead Coalition president Sam Massell exclaims, “a good community must have a good people-watching location — a town square if you will.”
Lenox Square, covering 65-acres of property with 250 retail units and an estimated 55,000 people per day becomes the de facto Town Square for this community, and the Coalition has partnered with its owners, Simon Properties, in making it attractive and comfortable.
Simon is adding seating arrangements at its Guest Services counter, and the Coalition is first installing a kiosk for free cell-phone charging while patrons are waiting for spouses who are shopping. The kiosk will handle eight mobile devices at one time, with various outlet configurations.
