Christina Clodomir, a local resident and student at the Marist School, has been selected for membership in the National Society of High School Scholars.
The society invites only those students who have demonstrated academic excellence and recognizes their achievements.
There are more than 530,000 NSHSS members worldwide in more than 160 countries. The society was started in 2002 by its chairman, Claes Nobel, who is a member of the family that started the Nobel prizes.
Members can take advantage of benefits like scholarships, travel and study abroad opportunities, events, competitions, special resources and personalized recognition items.
Fellow Marist student Amandha Darius was also recently selected for NSHSS membership.
