The AMC Theatres chain is bolstering security procedures at its theatres nationwide in the wake of the Colorado movie theater shooting that left 12 dead and 58 injured during an early Friday morning screening of The Dark Knight Rises.

The company will not allow any guests into theaters “in costumes that make other guests feel uncomfortable and we will not permit face-covering masks or fake weapons inside our buildings”.
