Find 18 ways to “Beat the Heat” in South Virginia-Highland this Saturday.
Every Saturday in August, participating restaurants and retail shops in South Virginia-Highland will offer customer specials, refreshments and promotions as part of a “Beat the Heat” monthly event that encourages shopping local.
Participating businesses include: Ten Thousand Villages, Atkins Park, Belly General, Bridge Boutique, Glamour Paws, Harry Sons, Key Lime Pie, LaRaine’s Bridal, Melrose, Neighbors, Panita Thai Kitchen, Pozole, Strivers Row, Sugarcoat, The Indie-pendent, Threadz, Van Michael, WellSpring Treasures.
The event is set for 3 to 5 p.m.
