Atlanta Police are looking for a man and a woman wanted in connection to an Inman Park armed robbery in the 200 block of North Highland Avenue Wednesday night.
The victims — both employees of the Barcelona Wine Bar — were leaving the popular nightspot following the end of their shift around 11 p.m.
The women were approached by a man and a woman demanding money, Matt Futaral, community manager of the North Highland Steel Flats Shops complex, wrote in an e-mail alert to the neighborhood listserv.
The man showed what seemed to be small caliber semi-automatic weapon and one of the victims gave the robbers her purse as the other victim screamed for help, according to another warning to the listserv posted by Greg Scott, the Inman Park Neighborhood Association’s vice president for public safety.
