Artlantis Arts and Music Festival, which is in its fourth year and focuses entirely on spotlighting local talent, is gearing up for festival day on June 2 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the parking lot of Druid Hills Baptist Church.
Artlantis is run by Mark Basehore and James McConnell, the same duo behind Beep Beep Gallery. Their aim for the festival, just like with Beep Beep, is to showcase emerging artists from the Atlanta area and introduce them to a large festivalgoing crowd.
This year features a wide variety of artists like Eric Warren, B.J. Rathur, Kate Morales, WonderRoot, SarahLou Designs and Nathan Phaneuf, plus many more. There will also be eight bands performing on the church steps, including Dog Bite, Mirror Mode and Ghost Bikini. Some artists may even
