A 19-year-old Roswell woman was lost her job and found herself in jail after Alpharetta police say she admitted to stealing from her employer.
Alpharetta police were called to Hollisters in North Point Mall on Aug. 2 at 2:22 p.m. after receiving a call from a store loss prevention officer. The store employee was accused of taking money from the end-of-day desposit on two occasions. Hollisters’ corporate office told him that the store deposits were short on two occasions, according to the arresting officer’s report.
The five employees who were working that day were questioned, and the loss prevention officer said one of them admitted to taking $900 out of the deposit bag on July 22 and $1,600 on July 26.
The suspect also admitted to taking several pieces of clothing during the two years she had wokred at the store.
