What’s better than cold ice cream on a warm Sunday afternoon? More ice cream! Today marks the 8th annual Miss Mary’s Ice Cream Crankin’, which benefits The Drake House.
More than 100 flavors of ice cream will be served up here in Roswell, and you can eat all that you want, one scoop at a time, for $20 per family, or $5 per person.

Sunday, Aug. 26, 2-4 p.m.
$20 per family (up to 6); $5 per person
The Historic Roswell Town Square hosts the event, which draws visitors from around the region. Local civic organizations, churches and businesses sign on as sponsors – for a fee – to compete in several categories in a contest judged by local community leaders. But the afernoon is about serving up ice cream.
