The U.S. women’s basketball team, which got a scare in first-round play Saturday in the 2012 Olympics, will be back in action Monday (July 30). The women’s dream team, led by former Collins Hill High standout Maya Moore, will take on Angola on Monday, 5:15 p.m.
The U.S. women were in a fight with Croatia on Saturday before pulling away to an 81-56 victory. Angola already has lost, 72-50, to Turkey.
In the medal count, the United States has three golds and 11 medals overall as Monday (July 30) began.
